I built a desktop and Android ERP that ties live gold rate feeds directly into billing, valuation, and accounting, so Mahadev Jewellers could stop calculating fine weight by hand.

Because gold rate feeds shift constantly, sales staff manually recalculating bills during peak hours caused significant delays and bookkeeping errors.
To solve this, I designed a high-speed local calculation engine that subscribes to live rate web-hooks. It locks active rates at the exact millisecond of checkout. This prevented concurrency bottlenecks on desktop terminals and ensured cash registers balance perfectly every evening.
