Mobile app connecting customers, kitchen teams, and delivery agents with live tracking.
Ordering food and tracking deliveries across multiple restaurants and drivers meant no single view of active orders. I built an app that ties customer orders, kitchen tickets, and driver tracking into one real-time delivery layer.
By linking checkout carts directly to kitchen terminals, preparation delays are reduced. Drivers update active routes on their map screens, providing customers with precise GPS details.
The platform connects customer checkout requests to kitchen panels using real-time database locks. Driver mapping coordinates GPS positions to trace locations accurately.
Mobile client allowing users to view menus, place orders, and track active deliveries.
POS system updating kitchens on active food preparation lists and ticket updates.
Tracks active driver positions and maps travel routes to customers dynamically.
"Syncing inventory counts dynamically across concurrent orders and securely updating active delivery queues in real time was the core challenge."
When multiple customer terminals purchase items concurrently, locking inventory registers to decrement item counts can cause server queue contentions.
To solve this, I built a distributed ledger locking engine. The engine schedules checkout transactions under strict ACID boundaries, ensuring stock databases and order status flags reconcile correctly.
