Attendance was tracked on a biometric machine that never talked to payroll — every salary run meant manually cross-referencing punch logs. I connected the biometric device directly into payroll processing, with salary payouts automated through Cashfree.
By linking hardware registers directly to calculation databases, manual ledger entry errors dropped to zero. Authorized salary payments route securely through API nodes, updating sheets instantly.

Because biometric attendance data formats differ across local machines and network connections can drop unpredictably, cross-referencing punch sheets manually was slow.
To solve this, I designed a buffer sync agent. The local agent fetches hardware records, formatting shifts to post to cloud payroll ledgers while maintaining retry queues to reconcile Cashfree payout API statuses safely.
